We're not usually the type to go around posting unsubstantiated rumors, so when we spotted a leaked list of rumored Record Store Day 2017 exclusive releases making the rounds last week, we tried to show restraint...

And now, we've finally given in.

Some of the releases have been confirmed and others haven't, but it felt like it made sense to highlight some of the notable ones. We're likely to see more exclusives once the official list is released, which should probably be any day now, but this will hold us over until then.

You can check out the full rumored list here and here. Hat tip to Exclaim! for rounding up all the details.

UPDATE: Full official Record Store Day 2017 release date can be found here. All of the releases below are now confirmed.

Animal Collective - Meeting Of The Waters [10''] (limited to 1200, indie-retail exclusive) 10"
What: No idea what this is, but the folks over at AC's Reddit are speculating it's the recordings from the band's recent Coral Orgy experiment. That'd be fine, but I'd much rather have a new EP that's on par with Fall Be Kind or Water Curses.

The Black Angels - Death Song [LP] (Glow In The Dark Vinyl, black light cover, limited to 2000, indie-retail exclusive) LP
What: A special edition of Black Angels' new album—  the psych-rockers' first in four years— which is set for release on April 21, the day before Record Store Day 2017.

The Black Lips - Cassette Box Set [4 Cassette Box] (Happy Meal box designed by William Keihn, limited to 450, indie-retail exclusive)
What: Not sure, but four cassettes from the Black Lips in a "Happy Meal box?" And only 450 of them available? Sounds rad.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Hammersmith Odeon London '75 [4LP] (150 Gram, first time on vinyl, numbered/limited to 3000, indie-retail exclusive) LP
What: We're suckers for the Boss' live albums, and this sounds like a good one

Davie Bowie - Cracked Actor (Live in Los Angeles 1974) 3-LP
Davie Bowie - Bowpromo LP box
What: Live album and alternate mixes of classic songs. Bowie's site has a good breakdown of both of the releases, but fans will wanna grab these.

Dave Matthews Band - Live At Red Rocks 8.15.95 [4LP Boxset] (150 Gram Metallic Silver Vinyl, download, limited to 2500, indie-retail exclusive) LP
What: Hey, who put this here? Sure, this was peak Dave and I definitely owned this in high school and thinking about it makes me nostalgic but not sure why it's included in this space.

Iron And Wine - Archives Series Volume No. 3 [LP] (Translucent Blue Vinyl, limited to 700, indie-retail exclusive) LP
What: Latest in a solid series that pulls from the Iron And Wine vaults. No word yet on what it'll contain.

Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit - Live From Welcome To 1979 [12''] (limited, indie-retail exclusive) 12"
What: Isbell has been on a roll in recent years, and this EP will feature one original and a bunch of covers.

Johnny Cash - The Johnny Cash Children's Album [LP] (150 Gram, limited to 3000, indie-retail exclusive) LP
What: Exactly what it sounds like.

Paul McCartney with Elvis CostelloFlowers In The Dirt demos [Cassette]
What: Three-song cassette that will be the first time the recordings - "I Don’t Want To Confess", "Shallow Grave" and "Mistress And Maid"- will be made available in the same form as when Paul and Elvis first cut them directly to tape, according to Sir Paul's website.

Pearl Jam - "State Of Love And Trust" / "Breath" [7''] (limited to 5000, indie-retail exclusive) 7"
What: Two excellent, vintage PJ songs.

Peter Tosh - Legalize It [LP] (POT-SCENTED! Jamaican Red/Yellow/Green-Striped Colored Remastered Vinyl, limited/numbered to 2500, indie-exclusive) LP
What: Classic Tosh LP that, apparently, will smell like pot, just in case the album's title/cover weren't enough to drive the point home.

Pink Floyd - "Interstellar Overdrive" [12''] (180 Gram, previously unheard / unreleased recording from 1966, poster, postcard, limited to 4000, indie-retail exclusive) 12"
Pink Floyd - London 1966-1967 [12''] (Picture Disc, limited to 2000, indie-retail exclusive) 12"
What: Rare Floyd releases include the insturmental odyssey "Interstellar" and other lost recordings.

Robert Johnson - The Complete Recordings: The Centennial Collection [3LP] (150 Gram, gatefold, download, 12x24 poster, numbered/limited to 2500, indie-retail exclusive) LP
What: Stellar compilation of classic cuts from blues legend Johnson.

Spoon - Hot Thoughts Record Store Day 12'' [12''] (two unreleased tracks, limited to 2000, indie retail exclusive) 12
What: Not totally sure if this is going to be another version of the new album with two extra songs, or just the two extra songs. We'll see.

Toto - "Africa" [12''] (Picture Disc, die cut, limited to 2500, indie-retail exclusive) 12"
What: A must-buy.
