Third Man Records Recording Booth

Over at Jack White's Third Man Records, they like to do things a little differently.  Originally founded in Detroit, Michigan, in 2001, the label has pressed over 300 LPs and 7" singles.  From his own offerings with The Dead Weather and White Stripes, to reissues of The 5.6.7.8's and Loretta Lynn, Third Man has put out some very collectible releases over the years.

In 2009, with the growing success of the label, a flagship location opened in Nashville, Tennessee.  In addition to having the only venue that records live shows direct to acetate, it is also home to a one-of-a-kind recording booth that greets you as the centerpiece of the Novelties Lounge.  The "refurbished 1947 Voice-o-Graph machine records up to two minutes of audio and dispenses a 6" phonograph disc to the user."
